Hello Everyone,

This is Sameer. I am an MBA student at The Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.

It is my pleasure to be a part of the CEI initiative with Citizens Environment Watch (CEW). CEW a non-profit ENGO dedicates itself to environmental monitoring, support and education on environmental protection. It is an amazing organization with immense potential to grow. CEW is one of the few community based action groups trying to make a difference by empowering people to understand their environment at grass root level, leading stewardship studies and ultimately affecting policy and community decision making based on rational scientific evidence.

My background in environmental design and my interest and passion to help the community achieve ecological balance through eco-development, brings me to CEW. With this internship I intend to bridge my interests and skills to help CEW with its business plan. In co-ordination with the key members I wish to position CEW with respect to its competitors and provide a long term vision to emerge an even more sustainable and a financially self reliant organization. Being an international student and recent immigrant this internship is crucial in my understanding people and Canadian culture at large.
