Hi,
My name is Nicole Kemp. I am in the MBA program at the Sauder School
of Business at UBC. This summer I am working at Small
Potatoes Urban Delivery (SPUD). SPUD is Canada’s leading organic
food delivery service based here in Vancouver. They deliver locally-sourced,
wholesome grocery and other household products throughout the lower
mainland and southern Vancouver Island. The organization has a strong
social mandate and focuses on increasing local economic self-reliance,
preserving the environment, and contributing to the well-being of
the communities in which it operates.
For my summer placement at SPUD I will be creating a strategic expansion
plan for the company. SPUD is in a stage of growth and they are looking
to create a detailed execution plan before proceeding into new markets.
I am very much looking forward to the experience as I think it will
be both challenging and rewarding.
