SUMMER INTERNSHIP 2005

I am a MBA student from Rotman School of Management and doing my internship
for Ontario Smart Growth Network (OSGN). OSGN is a network of organizations
in Ontario working with three basic goals Stop urban sprawl, Foster healthy
communities & Support community involvement in planning.

I have a long history of working and volunteering in the non-profit sector
and joined the Ontario Smart Growth Network (OSGN) as a volunteer in
November 2004. As a CEI intern I am currently carrying out a 3-month summer
placement as Outreach and Membership coordinator. My main functional areas
are membership development, event coordination, assisting staff and
volunteers with media tracking and general administration. I would sum up my
ongoing experience with OSGN as exhilarating and rewarding.

It is good sense of belonging to be part of CEI and interesting to read
about other intern projects. Hope you are all having a great experience and
looking forward to more postings.
