Hi Everyone,

My name is Khalid Parray and I am the CEI intern with Ontario Nature. I am a MBA student at Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. I have finished my first year of my MBA.

It is my pleasure to work with Ontario Nature. We at Ontario Nature are celebrating the 75th year of being the protectors of Ontario’s nature. Ontario Nature is primarily involved in protecting the Ontario forests and their biodiversity, the endangered species and providing a protective habitat to the wilderness and the wildlife at its reserves. All this is achieved through the tireless efforts of the people at Ontario Nature through environmental education and awareness, research and conservation. We are helped in our efforts by our network of 140 community conservation groups and thousands of volunteers.

Now let me say something about my work. My project is to prepare a business plan for the Cawthra Mulock Nature Center, a 269 acre property in the township of King near New Market. This property has been gifted by the Mulock family to Ontario Nature. It is a challenging project as the property has a number of environmental zoning restrictions. My endeavor will be to provide a sustainable and a financially viable business plan.
