		Iana Nikolova - MBA Schulich School of Business CEI Host Organization - Canadian Institute for Environmental law and Policy CEI Funding partner - The Laidlaw Foundation

My name is Iana Nikolova and I am an MBA from the Schulich School of Business in Toronto. I am working with the Canadian Institute for Environmental Law and Policy (CIELAP) in Toronto. CIELAP is a national organization that provides leadership in the research and development of environmental law and policy. Their work promotes the public interest and sustainability.

CIELAP is undergoing an organizational facelift in response to changes in its external environment. My job during the summer is to write a business plan for the organization that will help CIELAP focus its message and explore new markets for its work. In addition to working on the business plan, I recently helped organize a reception at Queen's Park that brought together Ontario MPPs and NGOs concerned about Great Lakes environmental issues. Currently, I am working on CIELAP's Annual General Meeting and Reception to be held in October.

I am very happy with my internship and find my work extremely interesting.
