SUMMER INTERNSHIP 2004

This is Diana from Sauder School of Business of the University of British Columbia. This summer I am writing a business plan for Shareholder Association for Research and Education (SHARE). SHARE is a national non-profit organization originating within the labour movement working with institutional investors to promote socially, economically and environmentally responsible investment practices through research, educational activities, and advocacy. SHARE is in the process of expanding its trustee education program, therefore the business plan with both marketing and financial plan will help to promote the brand and make it self-sustainable program within 5 years.

I really enjoy working at SHARE so far. The work is very interesting and challenging. People are friendly and helpful and I am learning a lot from them. Meanwhile, I am confident that with my years working experience in training program and non-for-profit organization, I will help to make this education program a success in the future. Thanks for the initiative of CEI. It makes my summer work more interesting and meaningful.
