Hello,

My name is Anouk Bertner and I am an MBA student from the John Molson Business School in Montreal.  I am currently working at the Natural Step Canada in Ottawa (www.naturalstep.ca).  We specialize in sustainability consulting for municipalities, provincial governments and businesses.  TNS is a small organization, meaning that the employees are all extremely busy doing their immediate tasks and do not always have time to work on larger processes.  

My project for the summer is to survey past clients and partners in order to build a marketing plan and overall communications strategy for the coming years.  We have recently developed an eLearning course to teach the TNS framework and introduce individuals to sustainability.  The course is completed and TNS is ready to move into the marketing portion of this project.  

I am also working to create an evaluation framework for some past projects that TNS has undertaken which will eventually lead to a best practices document and a deeper understanding of what works in sustainability consulting and what doesn't.  So far, I am really enjoying my internship and feel that I am really making a difference.
